Punta Uva is regarded
by some as one of the world's most beautiful beaches. Outdoor magazine
voted the beach as one of the world's Top 10 in 2000. Punta Uva is
actually 2 separate beaches.
One is relatively large, ending with
dramatic cove covered
with jungle and with a fresh water river. The other beach, or 'small'
Punta Uva, is a palm lined postcard looking beach where some of the
best snorkeling can
be found - just off the sand.
